Days are warm and sunny, around 25°C, but the desert cools quickly after dark and nights on the water can drop to 12 to 15°C. Pack layers for the evenings (a fleece or light jacket), a windproof layer for sailing, reef-safe sunscreen only (it's part of the Expedition Code), a reusable water bottle, and soft bags rather than hard cases.
