At the marina (Costa Baja): Free Wi-Fi is available at the docks and throughout the marina facilities. You can catch up on messages, post your first photos, and let everyone know your adventure has begun.
Once we're on the water: Here's what you need to know.
For safety, your captain will have reliable internet access throughout the charter. This allows them to receive real-time weather updates, communicate with local authorities (CONANP, port captains), and coordinate with our support team on shore. Your safety is always the priority.
For guests, however, internet will NOT be readily available. The remote anchorages and protected bays of Espíritu Santo and Isla Partida have limited to no cellular coverage. We deliberately do not provide guest-facing onboard Wi-Fi. Why? This is by design. The Sea of Cortez expedition is about disconnecting from the endless scroll and reconnecting with nature, your crew, and yourself. We want you present for the sunset silences, the bioluminescent night swims, and the conversations on deck. Download
your playlists, offline maps, and any must-have entertainment before you arrive.
What about emergencies? In the unlikely event of an emergency, your captain has the tools and communication channels to reach help immediately. You are never truly cut off - just intentionally offline.
Pro tip: Take the week as a digital detox. Your Instagram feed will still be there when you return to La Paz. The sea lions and meteor showers won't wait for you to finish scrolling.
